What is Phishing?

Phishing is a scam where fraudsters impersonate trusted platforms like Fanvue to steal your personal data, login credentials, or financial information. These attacks often involve emails or messages that look legitimate but are designed to trick you into clicking malicious links or providing sensitive details.

How to Know if a Message from Fanvue is Legitimate:

Official Fanvue Communications

  • We only send emails from [email protected]. Be cautious of any messages from other email addresses.

  • Fanvue will never send in-app messages.

  • Before clicking on any link, hover over it to view the actual URL. Authentic Fanvue links will typically have domains like fanvue.com. Avoid clicking on links with misspellings or extra characters such as the example below.

Example of a scam message:

How to Block and Report Suspicious Messages

If you receive a suspicious message:

  1. Do not click on any links or reply.

  2. Block the sender by marking the message as spam.

  3. Report it to Fanvue Support at [email protected] with a screenshot of the message.

What to do if you're the victim of a scam?
Please contact your bank and local law enforcement immediately if money was taken from your account.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for money lost from scams and phishing attempts.
