Updated today

What You Need for Apple Pay to Work

Apple Pay makes payments quick and secure, but there are specific requirements to ensure it works properly on Fanvue.

Device Requirements

Your device must have Face ID, Touch ID, or Apple Watch to authenticate payments. Apple Pay won't work without one of these security features.

iPhone/iPad Requirements

  • Safari browser: Works on all iOS 10+ devices

  • Third-party browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox): Only work on iOS 18+ or iPadOS 18+

  • At least one card saved in your Apple Wallet

Mac Requirements

  • Safari: Works on macOS Sierra 10.12+

  • Third-party browsers: Require scanning a QR code with your iPhone (iOS 18+)

Windows PC Requirements

Third-party browsers work but require scanning a QR code with your iPhone running iOS 18+

How to Set Up Apple Pay

  1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone

  2. Tap the "+" button in the top right corner

  3. Select "Debit or Credit Card" and tap Continue

  4. Add your card by either:

    • Scanning it with your camera, or

    • Entering details manually

  5. Complete verification with your bank if required

When using non-Safari browsers, you may see a QR code during checkout:

  2. A QR code appears on screen

  3. Open your iPhone camera and scan the code

  4. Complete payment using Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode on your iPhone
