Affiliates is a way to earn extra income by promoting another creator's profile to your own audience. It's separate from Referrals (which rewards you for bringing brand-new people onto Fanvue as creators). Affiliates is about sending your own fans to a creator who's already here.
Affiliates is currently in a progressive rollout and access-limited — it's not available to everyone yet, so don't be surprised if you don't see it on your account right now. Access is expanding gradually rather than launching to all creators at once.
How it works
Any creator can open an offer to pay a commission, between 5% and 50%, to other creators who help bring them paying fans.
If you want to become an affiliate for someone, browse the offers other creators have open and accept one that suits you. There's no application process, it's live as soon as you accept.
Share that creator's profile using your unique affiliate link with your own audience.
What you earn
You earn your agreed percentage of what that creator makes from the fans you bring them, for as long as those fans keep subscribing and renewing. It's not a one-off or time-limited payment.
It only counts for fans who are new to that creator. If someone was already subscribed before you shared your link, it won't generate commission.
Free trials alone don't earn commission: it starts once a fan makes their first paid renewal.
Each affiliate link has a lifetime earnings cap of \$50,000. Once a link hits the cap, it stops earning and will show as expired in your account.
Getting started
Turn on the feature to open your own offer for others to accept, or accept an offer from another creator's profile to become their affiliate.
You can have up to 5 active affiliate links from your account at once.
Affiliates vs Referrals: what's the difference? 🤔
Referrals rewards you for bringing entirely new people onto Fanvue as creators: 5% of their earnings for their first 12 months.
Affiliates rewards you for sending your own fans to a creator already on Fanvue, and keeps paying out for as long as those fans stay subscribed.
