A creator isn't responding to my messages - what can I do?

Updated today

We know it can be frustrating to send a message and not hear back. Here's what you need to know!

Why hasn't the creator replied?

Creators on Fanvue are independent - they manage their own schedules and set their own availability. Fanvue does not require creators to respond to messages within a specific timeframe. If you can see that your message has been delivered or read (blue ticks), the creator has received it - they may just be busy or taking a break from the platform.

Important

Blue ticks mean your message has been read. If a creator has read your message but hasn't replied, that is their choice. It does not mean something is wrong with your account or that you have been blocked.

What can I do?

Here are your options:

  • Give it some time - creators may be away, taking time off, or managing a high volume of messages.

  • Check the creator's profile or bio - some creators post updates about their availability or response times there.

  • Archive the chat - if you'd prefer to clear the thread from your active inbox, archiving is the best option.

Can I get a refund if a creator doesn't reply?

No. A subscription gives you access to a creator's account - it does not guarantee a personal reply. We do not issue refunds solely because a creator has not responded to your messages.

Did a creator promise something specific?

If a creator explicitly promised you specific content or a custom request in exchange for payment and did not deliver it, that is a different matter. Please read Can I get a refund? for more info before reaching out to support.

What if I think I've been restricted or blocked?

If your messages are no longer sending at all or the chat has disappeared, the creator may have restricted who can message them, or they may have blocked you. In either case, you won't receive a notification - messages will simply stop going through. If you believe you have been wrongly blocked or restricted, please reach out to [email protected], and we can take a look.
