Two-factor authentication (2FA) protects your account by asking for a code from an authenticator app on your phone, as well as your password, when you log in. Even if someone gets your password, they can't get in without the code.
How to turn on 2FA
Download an authenticator app, for example Google Authenticator.
On Fanvue, go to Settings → Account → Password & Security.
Select the option to enable 2FA and scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
Enter the 6-digit code from the app to confirm.
Signed up with Google or X? You'll need to add a password before you can turn on 2FA.
👉 Note: Manager and agency accounts can't enable 2FA at the moment. Creators who work with a manager should keep 2FA on their own account and invite the manager through Manager Accounts, rather than sharing login details.
Logging in with 2FA
After your password, open your authenticator app and enter the current code for Fanvue. Codes change every 30 seconds.
"Code is incorrect"? Make sure the time on your phone is set automatically (Settings → Date & Time), and type the code before it changes.
I've lost my phone or deleted my authenticator app
We can turn off 2FA for you once we've confirmed you're the account owner.
Contact us from the email address on your account.
Include your username.
Attach your identity verification: a photo of you holding the same ID used for your Fanvue verification, next to a note with your username and today's date.
⚠️ Tip: When you change phones, move your authenticator app to the new phone before resetting or giving away the old one. Most apps have a transfer or backup option.
I'm being asked for a 2FA code but never turned it on
If you didn't set up 2FA and are asked for a code, someone else may have turned it on. Contact us straight away and follow I think my account has been hacked.
