We check content on Fanvue to keep it a safe, trusted place for creators and fans. Here's what happens behind the scenes, so you know what to expect.
How we review content
Automatic checks. When you upload, our systems look for uncompliant content. See What content isn't allowed on Fanvue.
A quick pause. If something is flagged, we hide it for a moment while our team takes a look. This is a normal part of the process.
A real person reviews it. One of our moderators checks the content against our rules. If we need anything from you, like co-creator documents or proof that AI content is your own, we'll get in touch.
Ongoing checks. We also review accounts before their first payout, and carry out random checks to keep the platform safe for everyone.
What happens next
Most of the time, the content is approved and goes live. If something doesn't follow our rules, we'll let you know what happened and why. Depending on the issue, we may:
remove the content
add a warning to your account
pause payouts while we take a closer look
deduct earnings made from content that broke our rules
restrict, suspend or close the account, for serious or repeated issues
How long does it take?
Most reviews take a few days. If we need anything from you, we’ll get in touch by email, so keep an eye on your inbox and spam folder.
Avoid issues before you post
A few simple checks go a long way:
Tag or verify everyone who appears in your content.
Keep everything clearly adult. See Keeping your content clearly adult.
AI creators: see AI content on Fanvue: what's allowed.
Not sure about something? Just ask us before you post. We're happy to help, and it's much quicker than sorting it out afterwards.
