Account warnings explained

What a warning is, who can see it, and how it affects your account.

A warning lets you know that something on your account didn't follow our rules. It's there to help you understand what to avoid in future, and to help us treat every creator fairly.

Where to see your warnings

Go to Creator Tools → Account Health → Warnings.

What you need to know

  • Your fans can't see warnings. Only you and our team can.

  • Warnings stay on your account, even after you fix or remove the content. They're part of your account history.

  • They apply across linked accounts, if you have more than one, whether they are live or deleted.

  • Most issues can be fixed. There's no fixed number of warnings before an account is closed: it depends on how serious the issue is. Repeated issues lead to stronger action, and the most serious ones, such as anything involving minors, lead to immediate closure.

Linked accounts

You won't be able to create or link new accounts while you have an active warning.

Profile media issues can remove you from Discover until you update them.
