How to add fanvue as an app on your IOS or Android device

Due to the strict terms and conditions of the App Store and Google Play Store, Fanvue cannot create a mobile app. On the plus side, this allows us to keep Fanvue up-to-date and on the latest version for you!

Fanvue, however, is designed for both mobile and desktop use and optimised for both. You can even download an amazing Web App for your devices to quickly access Fanvue from anywhere.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

  1. Open Safari and go to fanvue.com

  2. Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow pointing up) in the toolbar

  3. Scroll down and select "Add to Home Screen"

  4. Tap "Add" in the top right corner

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open Google Chrome and go to fanvue.com

  2. Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top right

  3. Select "Add to Home screen" (or "Install app" if shown)

  4. Confirm by tapping "Add" / "Install"

Android (other browsers)

  • Samsung Internet: tap the menu (three lines, bottom right) > "Add page to" > "Home screen"

  • Firefox: tap the three-dot menu > "Install" (or "Add to Home screen")

  • Edge: tap the three-dot menu > "Add to phone" > "Add to Home screen"

Desktop (Chrome or Edge)

  1. Go to fanvue.com in Chrome or Edge

  2. Click the install icon in the address bar (a small monitor with a down arrow), or open the three-dot menu and select "Install Fanvue..."

  3. Confirm by clicking "Install"

Why install it?

  • One-tap access without typing the URL each time

  • Notifications when new posts and updates are made (requires notification permissions to be allowed at the OS level - see troubleshooting below)

  • Always the latest version of Fanvue, with no manual updates needed

Troubleshooting

  • Don't see "Add to Home Screen"?
Make sure you're using Safari on iOS (not Chrome) or Chrome/a Chromium-based browser on Android. Some browsers don't support this feature.

  • Not receiving notifications?
Check that notifications are enabled for the Fanvue app/website in your device's system settings, not just within Fanvue.

  • Icon or shortcut not working after an OS update?
Remove it from your home screen and re-add it using the steps above.
