Welcome to Fanvue! 👋 Getting your first fans can be tough. Here are 6 tips to help you get your first fan subscribed on Fanvue:
📣 Share your Fanvue profile link on all your socials
Head to your profile
Copy the URL of this page
Share this on your social media pages, and add it to your bios
Once all of the points above are covered, you're ready to get sharing! Head to the 'Profile' tab and copy the URL of this page, this is your profile link. This can be shared directly on other social media channels to drive your audience to your Fanvue profile. You are also able to add your Fanvue profile link to your bios safely!
📺 Upload an intro video
Go to your profile page
Click on “add intro video”
Follow the short instructions and upload your profile intro video
Your intro video will appear on your profile for visitors, and discoverability (as long as you have it toggled on). Think of your Intro video as a short pitch or teaser, welcoming people to your page and giving them an insight into what they will get if they subscribe to you.
The best intro videos are attention-grabbing, to the point, and authentic. If you need some inspiration, head to the Discover tab to see what other creators are doing.
📮 Upload a welcome message
Head to the ⚙️ Settings tab
Click on Creator Settings and then Welcome Message
Type your welcome message, add any media you would like to include, and set a price to unlock it if you'd like
Click 'Save'
Welcome messages are sent to fans whenever they subscribe (paid) or follow (free). They are a great way of encouraging fans to engage with you and convert them to paying users. You can attach images or videos to your welcome message and charge fan to unlock it if you would like.
🟢 Make sure discoverability is toggled on
Head to the ⚙️ Settings tab
Click on Creator Settings and then Profile & Intro Video
Here you can toggle discoverability on and hit save!
Having discoverability turned on allows your profile to be 'discovered' within Fanvue. Once this is done, your intro video will appear in the Discover section, and your page will come up if users search for your handle.
✅ Make sure your profile picture and banner are uploaded
Head to your profile
Click edit profile
Upload a profile and banner image
Hit save
Uploading great profile & banner pictures is the first step to building your page. Make sure your pictures are eye-catching, high quality, and relevant to what your page offers.
🤳 We recommend uploading 3+ pieces of content to your page
When potential fans land on your page, they are far more likely to subscribe if they can see they will have access to content straight away. We recommend adding a minimum of 3 pieces of content to your profile when starting out. But the more the better!
