Chrome compatibility

Answer to users question "why does Fanvue not work on Chrome?"

Our team has worked hard to ensure that Fanvue is optimized for both mobile and desktop use, including compatibility with Google Chrome.

1. Make sure Chrome is up to date

Go to the three-dot menu > Help > "About Google Chrome." Chrome will check for and install updates automatically; restart the browser if prompted.

2. Refresh the page

Sometimes a simple refresh resolves the issue. If the browser tab shows "Refresh Chrome" in the top right corner, click it to reload with the latest update applied.

3. Clear your cache and cookies

  1. Go to the three-dot menu > "Delete browsing data"

  2. Select "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files"

  3. Choose a time range (e.g. "Last 7 days") and click "Delete data"

  4. Reload fanvue.com

4. Disable browser extensions

Ad blockers, privacy extensions, and some VPN extensions can interfere with page loading or media playback. Try disabling extensions one at a time (chrome://extensions) or test in an Incognito window (which disables most extensions by default) to see if that resolves the issue.

5. Add Fanvue to your home screen

For quicker, more reliable access on mobile, add Fanvue to your home screen. See the "How to add Fanvue as an app" article for step-by-step instructions.

Other browsers

If you're having trouble on a non-Chrome browser, try switching to Chrome first to confirm whether the issue is browser-specific.

Still not working?

If none of the above resolves it, contact support with: your browser and version (chrome://version), your device/OS, and a screenshot or description of what you're seeing.
